Description
The Tabernacle Connecticut Broadleaf isn’t a cigar that tries to make a statement.
It simply lights up… and lets the flavor do the talking.
From the first draw, rich notes of dark chocolate and freshly brewed espresso immediately take center stage, followed by layers of cedar, earth, and a healthy dose of black pepper that gives the cigar an unmistakable presence. As the smoke begins to settle, hints of molasses and charred oak develop beneath the surface, creating a profile that’s bold without ever feeling unbalanced.
By the second half, the Broadleaf wrapper really begins to shine. Notes of leather, baking spices, and subtle dark fruit emerge alongside a natural sweetness that ties everything together. The smoke becomes richer and creamier with every inch, while the pepper gradually steps aside, allowing the deeper flavors to take over.
One of the things I appreciate most about the Tabernacle is that it never feels like it’s trying too hard. It’s rich because the tobacco is exceptional, not because the blend relies on overwhelming strength. Every flavor feels intentional, making it the kind of cigar that rewards anyone willing to slow down and enjoy it.
